Device Storage and Charging

Dos:

• If you don't have an event within the next week, completely power down the devices and set aside.
• Start charging your devices 12 hours before you start parking (the light on the gang charger will be orange while charging and green once fully charged).
• Your equipment should be charging in a climate-controlled setting in order to maximize charging potential.
• Once charged, it is recommended to keep the devices on the chargers until they are ready to hand directly to the attendant(s).

Donts:

• Do not leave devices on the gang chargers if the chargers are unplugged from the outlet - this will drain the battery.
• Do not take the devices off the gang charger the night before an event - even if they are powered down as this is not ideal in terms of prolonging battery life.
• Do not take devices off the chargers sooner than 20 minutes prior to handing out to attendants. If needed, devices can be removed from the gang charger up to 2 hours prior as long as they are turned off once removed.

If your device has come into contact with water, please make sure it's completely dry before putting it on the charger. Wet devices can melt if connected to the charger. Just give it a gentle wipe down, and you'll be all set to continue parking!
