Some Helpful Equipment Accessories 

*While we are not able to recommend products from third parties, our clients have used and had good luck with the products below.

Screen Protectors - To protect the handhelds from screen damage, you may want to consider using screen protectors.

• Prime EMV (Ingenico): You can find screen protectors that fit the iPhone 8 HERE.
• Prime Pro Core (Android): You can find screen protectors that fit the PAX A6650 HERE.

Portable Battery Packs 

• Prime EMV (Ingenico) - Our Prime EMV devices do not share a battery between the phone and reader; they drain independently of each other. Following best practices and in optimal conditions, the iPhone will last 7-8 hours while the reader will last 3-4. We recommend using a battery pack with at least 4000 mAh output to get your Prime EMV device to last 8 hours. 

PLEASE NOTE FOR EMV: You should plug the battery pack into your Prime EMV device at deployment/when battery is full to get the full 8 hours. The charging cord must be plugged into the iPhone to charge both units (iPhone and reader).

Individual Charging Cords - At times, you may need to charge a device remotely (away from its’ storage location) or you may have too many devices to fit on your gang charger(s). Luckily, each device can be charged individually via a cord plugged into an outlet (similar to your personal mobile device). You will find a few options below for charging each piece of equipment. 

• Printer - Srad Tech LTD Power Charge Cable or Amazon Basics Charge Cable
• Ingenico Reader - SMALLElectric USB-C Charging Cable 

Credit Card Reader Cleaning Cards - Make sure that you are keeping all ports  clean and clear of debris. If moisture or particles get into the internal components, it can cause the equipment not to work properly and will cause disconnections. To clean the credit card reader, you can use an alcohol cleaning card such as this: Presaturated Swipe Head Cleaning Card
