Troubleshooting: Printers

• Press and hold the Power button until the power light comes on (should be a GREEN ring around the Power button)
• Check that battery is installed properly and pushed all the way into place
• Recharge or replace battery as necessary

• Release latch to check paper compartment
• Confirm that there is a roll of paper and it is inserted correctly (follow instructions printed on the inside of the media compartment)
• Ensure paper is not binding on the sides of the compartment
• Close and latch lid completely

Poor or Faded Print

Partial or Missing Print

• NOTE: This is a thermal printer - no ink is needed
• Gently swipe a microfiber towel on the printhead bar to clean it of any dust/debris
• Confirm you are using the correct quality/size paper roll
• Check paper alignment
• Ensure media cover is properly closed and latched
• Check battery for possible damage - recharge or replace as necessary

• Reach out to JustPark Support as a firmware update may be required

• Check printer power and battery (see "No Power" steps above)
• Check Bluetooth connection to iPhone (see THIS Help Center article)
• Ensure that your Printer is paired to the correct Prime device (i.e. Prime unit #6 should be paired to Printer #6)
• Check Portal User Options to confirm print settings are enabled for the correct transaction type(s)

• Check that paper is loaded and that cover is closed and securely latched

A FLASHING or unstable Bluetooth icon indicates that the connection is poor:

• Make sure that the paired devices are both powered on and in range
• Confirm that your Printer is paired to the correct Prime device (i.e. Prime unit #6 should be paired to Printer #6)

If NO Bluetooth icon, it means that the printer is not paired to a device:

• Connect a handheld to the printer. (Need help connecting? Prime Pro | EMV)
