In an effort to save battery, you may want to consider utilizing the Android's "Low Power Mode." Low Power Mode temporarily reduces power consumption by turning off mail fetch, background app refreshes, and automatic downloads. Some visual effects are reduced or turned off.
To put your device into Low Power Mode, please follow these steps:
- From the homepage of the Android (exit Prime by tapping the triangular button at the bottom right of the screen twice, then tap "Exit"), select "Settings"
- Scroll through the Settings menu until you reach Battery, then tap on Low Power Mode
- Ensure "Save power when low battery" is toggled on
- Tap "Switch battery mode when low power" and select "Low Power Mode".
Note: You can also set the percentage at which the device goes into low power mode, under "Set value of low power" - Once you reconnect the device to power and the phone charges above the percentage you set, Low Power Mode will turn off automatically
