What is a Price Tag?
A "Price Tag" is a generic event type or category that is attached to each of your events with an assigned pricing structure. The list of categories to choose from can be found in Legacy Portal under the Pricing Tags tab.
If you charge different amounts for different types of events, you can set up each tag with those specific prices.
Example: Your venue hosts concerts, professional basketball games, and third party events (like Disney on Ice). Parking prices vary depending on what type of event your venue is hosting that day - $20 for concerts, $25 for basketball, and $15 for anything else. Instead of changing your pricing in Legacy Portal daily, we group each of these event types into a tag. You might choose to use the "Concert - Premium," "NBA," and "Third Party - Standard." Once you set pricing within a tag, it will remain for any subsequent events with the same tag until adjusted.Additionally, you can set up different prices within the same tag.
Example: Within the "General Event Parking" tag, parking is $5 in Lot A and $10 Lot BTo take it a step further, you can charge multiple prices in the same lot within the same tag.
Example: In Lot A, parking for Cars = $20, Buses = $40, and Limo/RVs = $60
