Overview: How to Process Transactions

Logging in and set-up

• After logging into Prime, select the correct lot and event where you will be transacting.

Running transactions: 

• Cash
  - Press the Cash icon and “confirm” payment to process 
  - OR press and hold the icon for 3 seconds to bypass the confirmation screen
• Credit
  - On the Ingenico EMV devices, insert the chip facing you and down into the Ingenico chip reader. The EMV devices also have the ability to accept tap-to-pay cards and all forms of NFC Contactless payments. Simply tap the card or NFC device to the front of the Ingenico Reader. 
  - If you get anything other than a green check mark, try the swipe again. If that does not work, it is likely a bad card/insufficient funds so request a new form of payment 
• Prepaid Pass
  - On the Ingenico EMV device, select the barcode option and center the passes barcode or QR code in the white square on your screen.

• Lower your devices brightness (you can also put your phone into Dark Mode, by the toggle in the Status Drawer)

  

• Utilize "Low Power Mode"
• Avoid using the camera unless absolutely necessary

• Lock the screen when you are not using it
