Prime Pro has now integrated with AirLink, enabling eSIM network switching directly from your handheld device. This feature helps devices automatically connect to the strongest available network in the area when cellular performance is poor.
How to Access the AirLink Feature
Before enabling Airlink, eSIM must be enabled on the device. To do so, navigate to the phone's Settings > Network and Internet > ESIM network settings > Toggle ON.
- Log into Prime
- Open the Status Drawer
- Tap the Network icon
- A pop-up box will appear:
- "Open eSIM Settings"
- Options: "Open" or "Dismiss" - Select "Open" (Prime will keep your active session open and route you into the AirLink app)
- In AirLink, tap "Switch Network"
Behavior and Timing
- The device will begin searching for an alternate network. Search time is typically around 30-60 seconds, but can take longer depending on signal strength, congestion, and environment.
- The system automatically connects to what it determines to be the strongest available network. Manual selection of a specific cell carrier is not supported.
- If no stronger network is available, the device will remain on the current one.
If your devices are already on the strongest network, but cellular service remains poor, consider switching the devices to Offline Mode.
